Three maverick farmers started it all - and we've been making our own way ever since.Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is currently looking for an Associate Manager, Category Management to support our Central and West Coast Grocery business located in work-from-home office in major metroplex, preferably Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Chicago, Nashville, Denver, Dallas, or Phoenix.This position is part of the Category Management division of the USA Sales Department. This Associate Manager should be highly skilled in the use of analytical tools, combining disparate pieces of data and insights into a holistic story, and can operate in a highly effective manner with both internal and external partners.A Day in the Life...Provide category management support to Ocean Spray's business for the Grocery channel, including weekly / monthly sales & category reporting, trend analysis, item ranking reporting, category review & reset process, shopper panel reporting metrics, and special analysis.Highly proficient and efficient in advanced Excel reporting & Power Point skills a must. Experience with retailer loyalty card data knowledge (i.e. EYC, Stratum, 8451, etc.) is preferred.JDA experience or space planning software experience is preferred.Create business reviews and weekly / monthly reports on retailer trends, market trends, category trends, consumer insights, shopper insights, and innovation.Partner with Ocean Spray sales team by developing insights and presentations directed toward generating increased sales and communicating insights. Must be able to create effective data visualizations to clearly communicate relevant facts and insights.Utilize multiple data sources to develop comprehensive recommendations spanning across product, placement, price, and promotion.Evaluate assortment opportunities, performing space to sales analyses, recommending best in class shelving strategies based on shopper and shelving research.Approach projects with confidence; apply creativity and project management skills through ideation and development.Use your category expertise, intellect, emotional intelligence, and pro-active communication skills to effectively partner with key stakeholders to drive category growth.What We Are Looking For:3+ years Category Management experience, Food & Beverage preferredExpertise with IRI/Nielsen POS are a must; experience with IRI Shopper Sights preferred.Highly proficient and efficient in advanced Excel reporting & Power Point skills a must.Experience with retailer loyalty card data knowledge (i.e. EYC, Stratum, 8451, etc.) is preferred.JDA or space planning software experience preferred.Strong analytic skills with a high attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret dataAbility to sell an idea persuasively and collaborate with othersMust be knowledgeable in gathering and interpreting syndicated data, as well as consumer & shopper insights to create recommendations.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbally and writtenIdeal candidate will be highly motivated, intellectually curious, a strategic thinker, possess strong analytical skills, and works well cross-functionallyEducation:Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)Work Experience:At least 3 Years of ExperienceBenefits:Complete insurance package on Day-1 that includes a plethora of health and wellness programs
