Come join our reliable and accurate production team in creating meaningful experiences for our clients.Day in the life of the Shipping and Receiving AssociateAccurately pick merchandise from stock bin locations according to sales order pick ticket. Promptly refill empty bins.Accurately pack merchandise in the proper size box with the proper packing material for shipment to customer.Attach correct paperwork to each shipment, ensuring all items have been verified and forms initialed.Perform in a productive manner, meeting all deadlines.Perform quality inspections relating to package conditions, product quality and product count.Communicate with supervisors and staff on any issues that are relating to the warehouse department.Accurately stock items in bin locations.Clean and organize warehouse area on a constant basis.Prepare correct shipping labels for packages using various shipping methods (UPS, FEDEX, etc.) Record shipment data including weight, charges, SO# , PO# and person requesting shipment.Unload shipments from containers some with boxes weighing up to 65 pounds.Assist with other areas of warehouse, embroidery or screen print as time allows.Interact positively, using business etiquette, with customers and co-workers.Work with other departments to expedite orders.Operate warehouse equipment in a safe manner and follow safety regulations.Help provide security for inventory. Keep areas locked as necessary, do not leave unattended product on dock or in hall.QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing-warehouse environment.Basic computer skills in MS and Outlook.Ability to read a sales order or pick ticket.No restrictions in climbing stairs and/or lifting weights up to 50 pounds.Knowledge and experience in driving a forklift a plus. Manufacturing-warehouse experience, excellent communication skills, basic computer skills in MS and Outlook, no restrictions in climbing stairs and/or lifting up to 50 pounds, regular and consistent attendance.Location
