The Azure Infrastructure Security team is looking for a motivated Product Manager II who will plan, execute and deliver features on our Trusted Launch security offering, to further strengthen Azure’s position as the most trusted cloud provider. Trusted Launch provides foundational security natively for a virtual machine (VM). Trusted Launch VMs protect against hard-to-detect rootkits and bootkits, and also extend protection against bootloader downgrade attacks and key exfiltration protection. In addition, Trusted Launch VM improves trust in the guest stack via attestation. You will play a critical role identifying the right investment opportunities for the team and collaborate with several partner organizations to deliver end-to-end solutions for our first-party and third-party customers. The ability to set well-defined KPIs to focus the team, prioritize the volume of incoming requests, and clearly communicate our plan with partners and customers is vital to the team’s success.

Responsibilities

Co-develop feature and product specifications including technical details, user scenarios, user experiences, success metrics, and delivery plans with engineers.Drive implementation in close partnership with engineering teams, including prioritization.Gain trust and influence broad stakeholders including engineering teams, partner orgs, peers, and customers.Drive features into deployment and commercialization and meet Azure Service Level Agreements (SLA).Be accountable for the prioritized roadmap by leveraging your team to work with internal and external customers to understand requirements, gaps, opportunities aligned with team and company vision.Manage risks and implement mitigation strategies.Report progress in objective and concise formats to management, while providing recommendations to accelerate progress.Creatively resolve blocking issues, and also innovate to resolve customer pain points.Deliver technical and high-level presentations to internal and external audiences.Embody our Culture & Values.Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering or Mathematics AND 2+ years experience in software development using C++, C#, or equivalent software program management experience.2+ years experience driving large, complex programs and solutions using both direct and/or virtual teams.Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.Proven ability to build successful partnerships and drive complex cross-group collaboration.Prior experience in security and/or cloud computing.Experience with manipulating large data sets across multiple data sources, passion for exploring data and extracting valuable insights.Communication and presentation skills, experience with presentations to leadership teams as well as customers.Passion for making decisions and driving innovative solutions based on data.Ability to apply creativity, critical thinking, and solution-focused approaches in a fast-paced working environment.Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
