Non-ExemptFUNCTIONSResponsible for member marketing of the Credit Union and a knowledge of all services offered to a degree that will enable answering questions, or referring members for specific services.Develop a complete knowledge of all direct and indirect consumer loan programs, loan policies, forms and guidelines.Create and execute a sales calling plan for Auto Dealers and other point-of-purchase dealers via telemarketing and in-person sales calls.Provide support to the dealer representative and dealer point of contact. Deliver supplies and discuss exceptions to loans where appropriate.Develop relationships with office staff to assist in business development efforts. Assist in training of new/existing dealer contacts in an effort to promote the Credit Union as the Lender of Choice while ensuring compliance to policies and guidelines.Make recommendations for loan products, pricing, promotions and policies to ensure competitiveness.Monitor dealer performance by measuring delinquency, accuracy in titles, and funding ratios and make recommendations to add or delete dealers to the program.Build and maintain strong, effective, working relationships with Community Office Managers and consumer loan officers and staff.Prepare assigned monthly reports of all business development activities.Represent the Credit Union at various functions.Maintain a superior level of knowledge and procedural expertise in Credit Union products and services.Perform other job-related duties and projects assigned by the Consumer Lending Manager.Position RequirementsPREREQUISITES FOR THE POSITIONMinimum Education : High school graduate or equivalent. Two years’ experience in sales environment with indirect lending exposure preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration is desired.Minimum Experience:

Three years’ plus experience in the credit union or financial institution marketing or lending field. Two years supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Experience in dealer relationships highly desirable. Valid driver’s license, good driving record.Personal Characteristics : Must be of the highest integrity and with personal habits above reproach. Must practice confidentiality. Must be a mature person with sound judgment. Must have the ability to adapt and adjust to the ever changing dynamic working environment. Must have the ability to meet and work effectively with people of varying levels of education and experience and be able to communicate, both written and orally with same. Must have a high degree of self-motivation, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently or in a team environment. Must be able to take directions and seek the council of supervisor as necessary as well as leading others in relation to assigned projects.Working Conditions : Continuous alertness, precision, and concentration to ensure accuracy and thoroughness of documents and transactions. Occasional travel is required. This position may require extended or irregular hours. Continuous standing and/or sitting for long periods of time when performing other duties.This position is currently accepting applications.
