Rozwijaj się z nami, wspólnie budując przyszłość najbezpieczniejszej, najbardziej zróżnicowanej i najbardziej rentownej firmy branży gazów przemysłowych na świecie.Reimagine what’s possible!This position will provide Commissioning & Startup Leadership to new plants, retrofit projects, and turnarounds from development to start up, and will support asset management/productivity initiatives for all America’s (the Region) Projects through the coordination of the activities from the engineers & operations teams stationed at plants.The Commissioning & Startup Utilities Lead, reporting to the Project Commissioning Manager, provides commissioning & startup direction to the supported sites to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient construction, commissioning, and startup for new and retrofit plants during shutdowns, startups, plant expansions, and new project development. The role identifies, supports, and executes productivity initiatives for facilities in the Region, which range across multiple technologies such as Air Separation (ASU), Hydrogen and CO production (HYCO), Gasification, Helium, and Ammonia, with the PRIMARY focus of the role in Utilities/Power Generation, Raw Water-Waste Treatment.This position interfaces with Air Products global, regional, and local Engineers across all functions, Regional Operations team members, project and design engineering teams, safety, and other technical support personnel in the execution of the responsibilities of this position. The position will help implement the necessary systems and measures to support the Region’s Product Delivery requirements, technical & operations standards, quality processes, and plant and equipment maintenance.Key Job Responsibilities:Provide Commissioning & Startup input and safety leadership for FCN’s/MOC’s, OPHR’s, and other safety-related initiatives in order to drive process safety compliance.Provide Commissioning and Startup Leadership for the completion of the Pre Safety and Startup reviews (PSSR).Provide Commissioning and Startup Leadership in complying with the Completions Tool deliverables.Provide Commissioning & Startup support to the Operations organizations in order to effectively operate the Utilities/Power Generation, Raw Water/Wastewater Treatment, Hydrogen Electrolysis, ASU, HYCO, Gasification, Helium, and Ammonia facilities in Region to meet customer satisfaction on safety, reliability, product quality, and flexibility of product supply while in compliance with contractual requirements.Provide expertise by taking ownership of operating plants and ensuring that the equipment has been installed, operated, and maintained correctly.Support planning activities for projects in the region; this may also include collaboration with other C&SU teams globally.Resolve installation issues, procedures, and methods by working with Engineering and Operations.Transfer of projects from Commissioning to Operations – completion of project-specific documentation, P&IDs, lessons learned, and project close-out report.Develop work processes and strategies for commissioning and start-up activities.Ensure Air Products standards, global best practices for EH&S, productivity, reliability, quality, and overall customer services are met.Lead the commissioning team in the commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities.Lead the training of the Operations team through plant commissioning, startup, and normal operation.Ensure Operations is maintaining accurate document control and monitor quality assurance initiatives during the commissioning and startup phase.Ensure proper training of the site operations team to operate the facility ensuring Environmental and Regulatory requirements are not exceeded.Engage in all aspects of plant operations, DCS and field, to effectively operate the technologies supported to meet customer satisfaction on safety, reliability, product quality, and flexibility of product supply while in compliance with contractual requirements.Facilitate attainment of operational excellence and customer satisfaction via operations productivity, reliability, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the commission and startup phase.Provide Commissioning leadership to drive asset performance which includes troubleshooting, plant efficiency, process safety, equipment reliability, and advanced controls initiatives.Provide Commissioning leadership in supporting/leading investigations and Root Cause Analysis in order to identify & implement sustainable corrective actions.Provide Commissioning support for turnarounds as requested.Participate in technical reviews, equipment design, installation, operation, and optimizations (productivity) of equipment & systems including validations, Mechanical Integrity and Management of Change along with procedures development & implementations.Minimum Hiring Requirements:Minimum 15 years project experience.5 years in a commissioning role, preferably with Mega Project experience. Demonstrated ability to operate, commission, startup, troubleshoot, assess and resolve various plant-related issues.Experience and knowledge in the technology, design, and operation of Utilities/Power Generation, Raw Water/Wastewater treatment.Knowledge in additional technologies a plus: Air Separation, HYCO, Gasification, Sulphur Recovery & Helium process systems desired.Strong background in all aspects of operating facilities including machinery, instrumentation and controls, electrical, mechanical systems, and advanced controls across multiple technologies.Demonstrated operations and technical skills. Ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, interpret design curves of field machinery, & function checking of field equipment. Knowledgeable in process safety, health, and local environmental requirements.A strong commitment to employee involvement, team building, and diversity.
