Senior Project Manager

to join our team. An Impact XM Senior Project Manager is responsible for accurately and efficiently managing the production details, activities, and scheduling aspects of each assigned project. A Senior Project Manager will primarily support custom built properties being utilized at tradeshows, events, and permanent environments. Supporting the Global Estimating process is also a core responsibility of the project management teams.RESPONSIBILITIES:Adhere to all Global Impact XM processes and policies accurately and efficiently.Utilize Impact XM project system to properly communicate to operational departments.Communicate and work effectively with Impact XM Account Services on all project deliverables.Address and help ‘trouble-shoot’ issues that arise with a project, both with the client and/or internal stakeholders.Support Global Estimating efforts by efficiently and accurately completing estimates.Accurately and effectively manage any sized project with limited supervision.Utilize knowledge of production techniques to ensure accurate deliverables.Collaborate with Design to select finishes, confirm availability, and secure approvals.Efficiently manage projects on or under the estimated budget.Establish and maintain work back schedules and communicate changes to appropriate team members.Create and maintain Implementation Plans (IP) and communicate with teams to ensure alignment.Source materials, work with approved Impact XM vendors on project deliverables, and request purchase orders.Coordinate sub-contractor and supplier services.Complete and accurately reconcile all core operational elements in a project in a timely manner.Participate and collaborate in post-project reviews.Mentor, train, and provide guidance to Project Managers and Project Coordinators.REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; and 10+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in the exhibit industry or similar experience successfully executing projects and programs and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Possess an aptitude for structural mechanics with the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.Must be passionate about working with people and be customer-centric.Thrive in an entrepreneurial and independent environment.Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness, and receptivity.Actively work out solutions.Identify something valuable in being part of a team and the ability to effectively collaborate.Effective communication skills are required.Must be able to develop excellent rapport with existing and prospective clients.Must have a good “business sense.”Exhibit the ability to multi-task and operate under severe time constraints and immovable deadlines.
