The Menzies Aviation Resource Planner will have the responsibility to oversee ramp manpower. This individual must have the ability to work under pressure assigning Ramp Crews as required. The Resource Planner is responsible for overseeing personnel, taking accountability for safety, resource management, operations standards and communicating directly with Airport Customers as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the ramp manpower on a daily, hourly and real time basisWork closely with the resource clerk to determine staff to assign to flightsObtain inbound and outbound flight information from all Frontier resourcesBecome direct point of contact to provide real time operational information for Ramp Teams, Shift Managers, Operations Manager, Ramp Manager and Station DirectorReceive flight close out load information and enter into MCWebEnsure safety and security procedures are performed according to the Simplicity USA Health & Safety regulations and according to aviation standardsMonitor assigned radio channel to communicate with the rampMonitor performance, taking action to correct any shortfallsLiaise with airline station managers, airport operations staff, handling agents, customs, immigration, and security officials and other airport stakeholdersWork shifts as required by the operationReport any significant deficiency in our operations directly to Planning Manager, Shift Manager, or Station DirectorSuggest any improvements to working practice especially those relating to safety and securityOperate motorized equipmentFrequent bending, stretching, push/pulling, stacking and kneeling in small confined locationsQualificationsMust be 18 years of age or olderPossess and maintain a valid US driver's license with a clean driving recordPass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testingAbility to proficiently read, write and speak EnglishMust be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitivelyMust be comfortable working in all weather conditionsEducationHigh School or betterResource PlannerPass FBI background and obtain US Customs SealMust be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidaysMust have high school diploma, GED or six months experience as a Ramp AgentPrior Ramp/Airline experience requiredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to learn quicklyAbility to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when neededStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to build relationshipsPay and BenefitsPay: $22.50/hourThree Health Plans through Meritain Health that offer a variety of coverageTwo Dental Plans through Delta DentalVision Insurance Plan through Met Life VisionPaid VacationCritical Illness Coverage PlanHospital Indemnity Coverage PlanVoluntary Life and AD&D InsuranceVoluntary Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance401K Savings PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramPrepaid Legal Coverage PlanIdentity Theft Protection PlanPet Discount Coverage and Pet Insurance PlanUniform ProvidedWorking ConditionsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
