Senior Manager, Packaging

Position SummaryThis position will be focused on structural packaging defects, industry packaging standards, and packaging automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in package testing and industry standards.What you’ll do:Work with Automation Engineering and Operations to determine valid packaging defectsWork with Suppliers to develop both long term and short term strategies to eliminate packaging defectsDevelop packaging standards to better equip supplier packaging to perform through the Walmart Supply ChainPresent metrics on packaging improvements to leadership teamsWork with Merchants to influence new supplier packaging initiativesWhat you’ll bring:5-7 years packaging experienceEffective Communication SkillsAbility to quickly adapt to changing environmentBachelor's of Packaging, or related Engineering DegreeThis role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to an exciting, fast-paced environment within a leading global company. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, English, or related field and 4 years’ experience in marketing, branding, packaging, retail, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in marketing, branding, packaging, retail, or related area. 2 years’ supervisory experience.Preferred Qualifications:
