Position Summary:

What you'll do:Manages continuous improvement and packaging innovation by reviewing and analyzing internal processes to highlight opportunities for cost reductions and process efficiencies.Develops and continually reviews objectives that refine business processes to maximize end-to-end efficiency and customer value.Keeps up-to-date on technology and packaging industry standards.Manages packaging solutions and requirements to address innovation in distribution automation.Works upstream to reduce packaging issues by key stakeholders.Manages packaging production by evaluating and appointing packaging resources based on production capabilities, geographic locations, quality control processes, innovation, equipment specifications, color management, and costs.Analyzes key metrics; advises on industry standards of cost estimates and the employment of packaging suppliers; and leads cost negotiations in support of new and existing packaging elements.Manages and drives the development of packaging copy content for Walmart US private brands by collaborating with the design team and cross-functional business partners to ensure consistency across the brand portfolio.Resolves issues with packaging content by identifying discrepancies; determining needed resources; collaborating with business partners to develop solutions; implementing solutions or contingency plans; and establishing work processes, best practices, and standards for the packaging team.Manages teams in the development of external communications to ensure the consistent global execution of packaging specifications.Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs.Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; and conducting regular performance evaluations.Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives.Live our Values:Culture Champion: Models the Walmart values to foster our culture; holds oneself and others accountable.Servant Leadership: Acts as an altruistic servant leader and is consistently humble, self-aware, honest, and transparent.Embrace Change: Demonstrates curiosity and a growth mindset; fosters an environment that supports learning, innovation, and intelligent risk-taking.Customer Focus: Delivers expected business results while putting the customer first.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Identifies, attracts, and retains diverse and inclusive team members.Collaboration & Influence: Builds strong and trusting relationships with team members and business partners.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits.Health benefits include medical, vision and dental coverage. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, English, or related field and 4 years' experience in marketing, branding, packaging, retail, or related area OR 6 years' experience in marketing, branding, packaging, retail, or related area. 2 years' supervisory experience.Preferred Qualifications:Supervising Associates, Masters: English, Masters: Marketing.Primary Location:Phyllis St. N Of Hwy 102, West Side Of Street, Bentonville, AR 72712, United States of America.
