An integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector with over 1,000 staff across eight regional centres.The Role:
Our client seeks to strengthen their Programme Management team with a Lead Planner based in the Severn Trent region, offering hybrid working.Responsibilities:
You will work independently to provide planning services for the Severn Trent Framework (portfolio of projects) ensuring achievable but challenging timescales, accurate monitoring, and updates while driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities include:Managing the planning services function across the business unit programme of work.Understanding multi-disciplined roles within an integrated programme (design, construction, commissioning, etc.).Knowledge of planning systems (Primavera – Essential, Microsoft Project – preferable).Providing programme management oversight across individual and batched projects.Optimizing the programme for cost/revenue/time efficiency.Identifying and producing integrated programmes of work, monitoring performance, and tracking critical path delivery.Resource planning and levelling for the overall portfolio.Detailed knowledge of NEC contract and programme requirements.Line management leadership and development of the Planning team.Collaboration with digital teams to develop 4D plans.Input into Key Performance Indicators and benchmarking.Experience:
Preferred experience in the Water/Wastewater Industry, Civil Engineering, M&E or Process Industry. Candidates should possess a sound understanding of planning skills across a portfolio of projects, along with leadership and line management skills.Benefits:
