Job Description
The Senior LIHTC Compliance Specialist will be responsible for an assigned portfolio of properties to handle on a preconcurrence basis. This position requires property management experience and a strong understanding of the LIHTC, HUD, and HOME program rules and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations of their assigned portfolio. The position is remote; however, candidate must live in Arizona or Utah.Qualifications:
The position requires at least 5-6 years of LIHTC property management and/or compliance experience.The candidate must be able to travel at will and be on assignment for an extended timeframe.Strong Microsoft Office skills, organization and professional communication are required.Responsibilities:
Reviews and approves compliance files for an assigned portfolio of properties.When traveling, must conduct in-person file audits onsite and continue to review their assigned portfolio of properties.Ensures that lease files are processed promptly and are complete and, after proper review, ensures that tax credit paperwork and leases are executed properly on approved terms.Works with the Property Managers, Area Managers, and Division Managers/Directors on an ongoing basis to ensure accurate files and reporting.Certifications:
HCCP certification or equivalent is required.Company Description
