Geosyntec is currently seeking a

Principal Practice Leader - Air Quality

to help us grow our South Region Air Quality Market Sector Practice. This person will have an entrepreneurial attitude, be enthusiastic, and lead business development and technical efforts focused on providing strategic solutions to our clients' complex problems. This position will serve on our Air Quality Steering Committee and will support the development and implementation of new strategies to expand Geosyntec's team, reputation, and market share within the Air Quality Practice.Geosyntec is an innovative, international engineering and consulting firm serving private and public-sector clients to address new ventures and complex problems involving our environment, natural resources, and civil infrastructure. Collaboration and mentoring are cornerstones of Geosyntec's culture. We operate under a sell-manage-do culture, and we expect that you'd work on challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management. You will also be asked to take on project management responsibilities, along with staff management and mentoring tasks. Specific technical responsibilities include:Business development, project management, and technical lead for air quality projects related to regulations and compliance solutions.Maintain high visibility in the marketplace through regular client contact and participation in professional organizations.Technical leader for air quality matters, including regulatory analyses driven by the Clean Air Act.Provide consulting services for air permitting and air quality impact assessments.Oversee the selection and evaluation of air pollution control devices.Assess and develop engineering solutions using analytical and statistical techniques.Manage projects and staff, providing technical leadership and oversight.Work closely with related teams across the Company.Assist in recruiting and training additional staff.Serve in a leadership role for the company culture and values.
