Location : SE 16th and E. Burnside Recovery Center

Schedule : Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

*** Note : As the Milieu Supervisor, there may be a need, at times, to support the milieu, in an on-call capacity, at times. The Milieu Supervisor would be a part of a rotating schedule--which would include other members of the clinical leadership team.

SUMMARY : The Milieu Supervisor leads and supervises the Treatment Assistants in providing a safe recovery residential environment through trauma-informed care and person-centered care. This position works closely with the leadership team to develop and implement developmentally appropriate activities and ensure cohesive coordination of client's daily lives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)

Required : Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience of direct service staff in a social services milieu.Required : Must possess a current driver's license, pass a DMV background check and be designated an "acceptable" driver as outlined in Central City Concern's Fleet Safety Policy. Must pass an initial drivers training within 60-days of being an approved driver and continued recertification training.Required : Working knowledge or the willingness to engage in training to obtain knowledge of Behavioral-Cognitive Therapy and other evidenced-based service delivery.Required : Working knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care.Required : Working knowledge of effects of substance use on individual and family systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Supervisory experience in a residential treatment program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise Treatment Assistants (TA) including hiring, ongoing job development, performance reviews and training.Provide monthly group supervision including individual supervision as indicated by staff.Develop and implement thorough training process for TA staff to meet the needs of the clients.Liaison between TA and clinicians and attend clinical meetings. Ensure ongoing communication to TAs regarding multi-disciplinary team decisions.Develop, implement and update client guidelines and program expectations in partnership with the leadership team.Model healthy conflict resolution and oversee TA staff in utilizing conflict resolution skills with coworkers and clients.Work with Clinical Supervisor and SUDS Director to expand and develop appropriate continuum of care for evidence-based treatment for all stages of change.Work with Clinical Supervisor and SUDS Director to expand and maximize service delivery.Ability to work closely with Case Managers, Peer Mentors, Client Access Specialists and TAs in coordinating transportation for clients.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the milieu and daily program expectations.Work with Clinical Supervisor and SUDS Director to develop and implement policies and procedures.Organize and facilitate with the team and volunteers to organize special events, such as client outings, holiday celebrations, recovery events, and other activities as identified.Attend all mandatory CCC trainings in a timely manner.Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, and to CCC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security. Support compliance with all privacy and security requirements pursuant to community partners' and outside providers' patient confidentiality agreements, including privacy and security requirements for EMR access. This includes immediately reporting any breach of protected health information or personal identification information of any person receiving CCC services by CCC or an outside provider to the CCC Compliance Department, as well as to your supervisor or their designee.

DESCRIPTION OF OTHER DUTIES:

Perform other duties as assigned.Be available for 24/7 on-call rotation with other managers and supervisors.

Ability to consider the impacts and outcomes for underserved communities during decision-making process.Ability to consider impacts of oppression, structural racism, and individual bias on client outcomes.Holistic understanding of behavioral health disorders and recovery, including treatment and intervention methods.Ability to be a team leader as well as a team member and to establish priorities.Knowledge of HIPAA, Federal Confidentiality, and OARS.Ability to supervise, teach, job coach others in strength-based manner.Ability to clearly communicate expectations and consequences to staff and clients.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.Ability to maintain documentation.Knowledge and effective modeling of de-escalation techniques when encountering volatile situations.Ability to effectively interact with partner agencies, clients, their families, and community members. Demonstrate working understanding of professional and personal boundaries in the workplace and model it to staff and clients.Demonstrates basic knowledge and skills in counseling techniques with individuals and groups.Ability to work effectively with peers, individual clients and groups.Ability to display non-judgmental strength-based approach and implement training for staff to ensure utilization of.Knowledge and experience supervising employees.Demonstrate knowledge of community and social service agencies.Ability to work evenings and cover all shifts in the event of an emergency or if we are experiencing critical vacancies.
