We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to manage the successful delivery of technology initiatives within the financial services sector. This is a remote position with an initial 6-month contract, offering the potential for an extension or full-time hire based on performance.

Job Summary:The Delivery Lead will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of critical technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry, IT infrastructure, and software development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of technology projects on time, within budget, and according to agreed scope.

Develop, maintain, and monitor comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, and business objectives.

Ensure adherence to industry standards, organizational methodologies, and compliance requirements.

Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing solutions and escalating when necessary.

Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, fostering clear communication and expectation management.

Promote and drive the adoption of agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

Regularly track and report on project progress, providing updates to senior management and ensuring project alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5-7 years of IT project management experience, with a proven track record of leading technology projects in the financial services industry.

Strong knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC), agile methodologies, and IT infrastructure.

Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities in a remote setting.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or similar.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (PMP, Agile) preferred.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management within financial institutions is a plus.
