Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities. This position has been identified as “safety sensitive” by thyssenkrupp under applicable laws in the state of Washington. Key Accountabilities:Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairsEstablish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facilityPerform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work areaDismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipmentMaintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairsCoordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and servicesSupervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenanceParticipate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirementsMeets TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
