HIV Program Manager
In partnership with the HIV Program Director, this position is charged with the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy for HIV/AIDS prevention, outreach, linkage, and quality improvement, providing robust support to clinical staff across the organization. The position further facilitates external engagement with partners, direct mentorship, and coaching of team members, as well as seamless integration within a multidisciplinary framework, aiming to substantially elevate the efficiency and influence of HIV/AIDS services.
Essential Functions
Alongside the HIV Program Director, develop and implement
a holistic strategy for HIV/AIDS prevention, outreach, treatment, and quality improvement, ensuring seamless support for clinical providers and staff
agency-wide
.
Oversee all aspects of program reporting for HIV services, including compliance with Ryan White and other funding contracts, in collaboration with the Grants Department, Data and Analytics Team,
and
site leadership
.
Lead the charge in both site-specific and organization-wide quality improvement projects, championing innovation in HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention to elevate patient care standards.
In partnership with the HIV Program Director and
HIV/Gender Affirming Services Clinical Division Lead
,
identify
and
disseminate
best practices, protocols, and trainin
g
, enhancing the skills and knowledge of health center staff and providers.
Provide comprehensive training, technical
assistance
, peer group facilitation, performance coaching, and mentoring across the agency, focusing on HIV education, prevention, and treatment excellence.
Generate and review performance data reports for a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication of program outcomes and quality improvement efforts.
Act as a pivotal representative for One Community Health in engagements with external HIV care and prevention advocates, clinical providers, administrators, and Quality Improvement leaders, fostering strategic partnerships and collaborative opportunities.
Directly manage the Linkage & Retention, HIV Prevention & Community Engagement units, along with overseeing the contributions of volunteers and interns, ensuring alignment with program goals and
objectives
.
Engage with community members, stakeholders, and policymakers to advocate for policy changes and resources that support the HIV/AIDS community, enhancing program visibility and impact.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or
4
years in public health or relevant experience
may substitute education
.
Minimum 3 years managing multidisciplinary teams
.
Experience in healthcare services or non-profit social services
.
Minimum of 2 years' experience
interacting or
serving
diverse populations including
LGBTQ+, homeless, BIPOC and other minority populations
.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in counseling, case management, motivational
interviewing,
and de-escalation amongst priority populations
.
Obtain and maintain BLS Certification
Valid CA Driver License
Preferred Background
M
aster's degree in Public Health
or related field
.
Baseline knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment programs and targeted outreach.
