WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:If you’re someone who enjoys creating new, innovative, and best-in-class analytics solutions for top-tier clients and translating numbers into narratives, this is the place for you!This analyst role is a key contributor in Ampersand’s larger Data Innovation group. The analyst role will primarily support the generation of data-driven deliverables and insights to sales teams focused on Brand direct and Agency Partnerships. The analyst role will participate in research and development of new approaches that showcase how Ampersand’s unique data assets can become actionable insights for our clients.

HOW YOU’LL BE CONTRIBUTING:Support day-to-day data and research requests across all Ampersand sales offices, with focus on supporting Client Solutions and Agency Partnership sales teams.Being the bridge between teams that develop and generate data assets to sales teams that present data learnings to clients.Proactively utilize first-party data as well as existing syndicated tools for competitive positioning and to drive sales through new, innovative analyses and storytelling.Become an expert in audience planning and measurement, providing expertise to Account Executives and clients.Prepare comprehensive and visually engaging reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.Manage the delivery of analytic projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, on budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.Provide supporting materials to address marketplace challenges for client pitches and client responses; offer best-in-class, data-informed solutions and insights to grow TV and multi-screen advertising revenue for core Ampersand LOBs.Develop collaborations with internal stakeholder teams including Sales, Data, Marketing, and Product on a routine basis to guide strategic decision making and effective content delivery.Leverage proof of performance of Ampersand linear and streaming ad effectiveness offerings through attribution partnerships with third-party vendors.Data vetting and Quality Assurance for emerging Ampersand proprietary data insights.Provide insights and recommendations to support the development of media campaigns, product launches, and audience engagement strategies.Communicate data insights in a clear and concise manner.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:Experience at a media company, syndicated research company, or advertising agency in a data-related role preferred. If recent college graduate, relevant coursework and data visualization projects will be considered for skills review.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, power pivot).Some experience with Data Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker).Ability to translate data analytics in both verbal and written communications to non-technical audiences.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.Comfortable working independently and accurately without hands-on oversight.Familiarity with principles of data integrity and advocating for best practices of usage with data assets.Curiosity with data and passion for storytelling.

Salary Range Disclaimer:The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Ampersand salary range for this position in Chicago and New York Metro Areas. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, experience and performance.

Salary Range Transparency:This role has a Chicago/New York City Area base salary of $60,000 - $70,000 and discretionary annual bonus.
