Description of the role:The Internet Sales Consultant will be responsible for managing and responding to online sales inquiries for Gerry Lane Chevrolet. They will be the primary point of contact for potential customers who are interested in purchasing a vehicle through the dealership's website. It will be their role to provide excellent customer service and assist customers throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to final purchase.
Responsibilities:
Respond to online sales inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Assist customers in finding the right vehicle to meet their needs and budget
Follow up with potential customers to answer any questions and provide additional information
Negotiate and finalize sales agreements with online customers
Coordinate with dealership's sales team to ensure a smooth transition from online to in-person sales
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the dealership's CRM system
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and goals
Requirements:
Prior experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the automotive industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers via email, phone, and online chat
Knowledge of automotive features, specifications, and financing options
Proficiency in using CRM software and online sales platforms
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Familiarity with current social media and online marketing trends
