We offer our teammates Paid Time Off (PTO) so they can recharge and relax with family and friends.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Stabilized Sand Plant Manager is responsible for directing and managing all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, planning, marketing, sales maintenance, and control/quality assurance while maintaining a safety-first attitude.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish a culture that supports safety and ensure compliance with all federal, state and company regulatory policies.Plan and direct the daily operations at stabilized sand plant and slurry plants.Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals and client project requirements.Implement and monitor procedures to maximize plant efficiency while controlling cost of production and verification of quality and performance requirements of products.Develop forecasts, operating budgets, capital budgets and other financial planning needed to operate business successfully.Establish business goals for pricing, volume, product mix and cost.Gather and interpret alternative product information to strengthen the business’s competitive position.Participate in mine planning and equipment evaluations.Coordinate maintenance projects, service work, and repairs to ensure proper utilization and maintenance of all equipment.Exercise discretion and good judgment in supervising subordinates.Ensure utilization of company processes for reporting, monitoring, and tracking of production and maintenance activities.Review inventory controls, cash controls and reconciliation.Actively review raw material sourcing and strategy.Provide market and sales contacts and insight in relevant market areas to Sales Manager.Contract hauler/3rd Party Transportation relations supporting a beneficial and reliable delivery team.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in engineering or management operations.Two to five years of management experience, as well as familiarity with production, equipment, maintenance, or quality control.Proficient knowledge of MSHA safety requirements.Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products and some ability to adapt to other computer software.Experience or exposure in process improvement and project management.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Other Requirements:Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move from 10 to 50 lbs.Consists of both office setting and on-site at plants.
