Adams and Associates - Maintenance Manager

Location: Manchester, New HampshireJob Responsibilities:Responsible for providing overall management for facility maintenance.Provides daily oversight and quality control of all aspects of facility maintenance.Manages, supervises, and trains Job Corps’ Work-Based Learning students and leisure time student workers assigned to the Maintenance Department.Manages and assures quality control of all facility and equipment subcontract work performed on Center.Coordinates with Center Management in project planning sessions and meetings to ensure quality control standards.Develops, implements, and manages energy conservation preventative maintenance and facility management plans.Manages a computerized work order system for maintenance activities.Prepares scopes of work for subcontracts and ensures compliance with quality standards.Holds staff accountable for producing quality work and develops staff for career progression.Provides required training for new and current employees.Motivates and manages staff to create a supportive work environment.Exchanges ideas and information clearly and concisely.Identifies problems, analyzes causes, and evaluates appropriate solutions.Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision and services.Accepts direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited school or technical certification preferred. Three to five years’ experience in facility/maintenance supervisory capacity and Electrician, HVAC or Plumbing license preferred. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Must demonstrate the ability to lift 40 pounds and assess lift loads to request assistance when necessary.“Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
