We are currently seeking a Project Manager to support our customer in Newport, Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will be able to:
Provide Project Management support services to NUWC Newport
Develop project management plans
Define project scope
Establish and track project milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs
Establish and manage personnel resource requirements across multiple projects
Develop and publish project reports
Support technical leads with the definition of project scope and objectives
Schedule and attend team meetings
Record and track action items
Propose improvements to Integrated Master Schedule process
Store and retrieve documents from SharePoint
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years relevant experience
Required Experience:
Experience with managing Navy projects
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent written skills
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, Outlook)

Required Skills:
Bachelors with minimum 6 years experience or equivalent relevant work experience.
Minimum 4 years relevant management experience.
Qualifications:Bachelors with minimum 6 years experience or equivalent relevant work experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.
Ability to communicate in English.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
MS Office proficient (must have working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel).
CAD familiarity is a must.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
