We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic team. As a member of the Product Management team within the MSC business unit, you'll have the opportunity to work on AspenTech's Industrial Data Infrastructure. You will own, from a product management perspective, the successful definition and delivery of our Aspen InfoPlus.21 (IP.21) industrial process historian and Aspen Production Record Manager (APRM) for Event (Batch) Driven Data.You will collaborate with other Product Managers in our business unit to ensure the successful delivery of our full portfolio of offerings including (but not limited to) our historian, visualization, connectivity, workflow, integration platform and cloud infrastructure components. Our product management team's focus is to accelerate data-driven value creation in the capital-intensive industries through our software solutions. At the plant level and with High-Availability Enterprise IP.21, the IP.21 product family empowers subject matter experts to monitor and optimize day-to-day processes.You will work closely with our R&D department and ensure project execution, profitability and customer satisfaction. Gather business requirements and use cases from customers, other AspenTech product managers, sales and customer service. Use this data in the roadmap strategy.Prioritize the roadmap deliverables and secure required development resources to ensure timely delivery of those roadmap items.Remain up to date with the latest Industrial Automation, Networking, Security, Visualization and Data Technologies.Track roadmap execution plan accordingly and teams' alignment around implementation trade-offs that might be required.Interact with stakeholders to ensure the success of the product.Translate the data gathered to build a case for decisions presented in the roadmap.Champion the product vision and strategy, exhibiting good product judgement, continuously setting clear and measurable objectives and monitoring the product's progression to achieve these.Communicate this strategy to all the relevant participants and stakeholders.Support PM leadership for pricing and licensing strategies for the product.Work with the R&D teams to define functional architecture, processes, and development efforts required for the delivery of the product.What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer sciences or equivalent.Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in product management and in an Agile environment (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Scrum).Deep understanding of the latest industrial technologies: Industrial Automation, Networking, Security, Visualization and Data Technologies.Excellent knowledge of AspenTech InfoPlus.21 (IP.21) and Aspen Production Record Manager (APRM).Understanding of Enterprise asset management (EAM), Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) technologies.Understanding and application of Agile project management tools and methodologies.Familiarity with IT concepts, methodology and vocabulary is an asset.Experience working with industrial automation systems (PLC's and DCS) and MES/MOMs components including - industrial process historians, batch historians, master data systems and operational visualization software.Ability to rationalize design decisions in a clear and objective manner, and challenge engineering teams to produce their best work.Proven business acumen with ability to translate business objectives to application/architecture requirements.At ease with business cases development, ROI and margin analysis.Ability to translate technical challenges into business related impacts.Product marketing experience, including product messaging and go-to-market strategies would be an advantage.You have excellent communications skills and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.Ability to navigate complex organizations, entities, partners, and vendor ecosystems and maintain health connect with multiple task teams spanning from Product management, R&D and VMO.
