Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems & Services, Americas (CSS) business provides a wide range of quality compression technologies and services globally. We have an opportunity for a transformational Warehouse Logistics Engineer to execute for our largest manufacturing site based 100% onsite in Mocksville, NC.Responsibilities:

Developing layouts for warehousing systems that optimize space utilization and streamline processes.Analyzing and recommending improvements in logistics operations, systems, and processes.Motivating and guiding the team in environmental health and safety, quality, fulfillment, cost, cash, and employee engagement objectives.Involvement in defining capital needs for responsible area.Developing team leads and employees. Training staff on new systems and technology relevant to logistics and warehousing.Evaluating multiple forecasts and order input and overlays these against production, work orders, and capacities to understand what work will be done where.Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, logistics, supply chain management, or related field.Must have at least 5-7 years' experience in Supervision, Materials Management, preferably in the industrial industry.Problem-solving capabilities and data analysis required. Strong analytical and project management skills are necessary.Ability to clearly and concisely deliver instructions to the production team. Must also be able to deal with team-management issues quickly and effectively.High proficiency in Excel.Key Competencies:

Devises action plans for non-conforming issues.Acts as an extension to Management in their respective department.Assisting in the selection, implementation, and maintenance of warehouse management systems (WMS).Conducting time and motion studies to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.Collaborating with other departments to ensure that logistics considerations are integrated into overall operational strategies.Developing risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.Ingersoll Rand Inc.
