HOW THE SR. PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Bring forward your passion for Continual improvement that will advance our teams efforts to broaden our team's impact to customer mission.Success requires routine customer engagement to understand priorities, refine requirements and communicate progress.Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines and goals.Manage risks, issues, cost, performance, and schedule.Create appropriate metrics and track accordingly.Develop corrective action plans.Evaluate complex risks/issues and provide recommendations for project improvement.Manage and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, financial and business development activities.Supervise, mentor, and develop assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors, and perform personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.Direct program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serve as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.Establish, maintain, and expand strong customer relationships via face-to-face meetings, informal tag-ups, and open communication.Responsible for profitability and revenue growth of assigned task orders.Assure quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.Perform business development activities at all stages, including the preparation and review of technical and cost proposals. Identify and capture opportunities for organic growth within assigned areas and support enterprise growth activities.Perform program financial management services, including financial analysis, budget and cost quote preparation, cost management, reconciliation, and profit enhancement.Coordinate and monitor sub-contractor activities and administer subcontractor deliverables and finances.Prepare and provide various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.Ensure compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.As a PMO team member, help set and execute account strategic vision.Participate in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education:Bachelor's level degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline is required.PMP certification is preferred.Certified Six Sigma Green Belt is desirable.

Required Experience:10+ years of related professional IT experience.Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager successfully managing multiple, concurrent task orders with an aggregate annual value over $10M.

Required Skills & Abilities:Ability to work in fast-paced and constantly changing environments.Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various levels of clients and professionals.Detail-oriented problem-solver who can employ leadership, critical thinking, and time management skills.Demonstrated expertise to lead change and initiate organizational changes.

Desired Experience:Experience working in a similar role with the United States Postal Service (USPS).

Security Clearance Level:Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.
