And our work depends on a Senior Project Manager joining our team to support the United States Postal Service (USPS) activities located in Raleigh, NC.

HOW A SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Compiles project data and reports on status of key projects to management.

Consult with management and customers regarding product feasibility and viability of network infrastructure plans and designs and includes emerging technology and product supportability into design and implementation.

Provide team with data analysis for provisioning orders in bulk to multiple network service providers using Excel and MS Access, addressing billing reconciliation issues.

Serve as liaison between network engineers, development team and customer management.

Provide advanced support for the diagnosis and resolution of complex problems to ensure minimal disruption of mission-critical systems and applications.

Leads teams and provides day-to-day direction for projects.

Familiarity with the design, installation, and configuration services with regard to Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards in order to design the most comprehensive framework to address all security, data integrity and privacy concerns within the United States Postal Service.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Education:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University; in lieu of degree, an additional four (4) years of experience can be considered.

PMP certification required.

Agile certification and/or ITIL certifications preferred, but not required.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 15+ years of relevant professional work experience.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Proficient in using Excel and MS Access.

Demonstrated ability to drive projects and provide day-to-day direction to team members.

Demonstrated strong project/program management skills on a network infrastructure team.

Familiarity of Agile methods.

Security Clearance Level:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.

This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.

The likely salary range for this position is $106,371 - $177,632. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
