Assistant Food and Beverage Manager ! If you can demonstrate exemplary customer service skills, an extensive food and beverage background, the ability to lead, train and motivate staff and the desire to ensure quality experience for our guests then please apply.Compensation:

$65,000-$80,000 per yearSummary:

Assist Food & Beverage Manager in all phases of restaurant operations. Responsible for complete restaurant, room service, bar, catering, and banquet operations in absence of manager.Essential Functions:Manage, train, and schedule restaurant staff including bartenders and wine sommeliers. Adherence to all service standards, including inspecting staff for correct, clean, complete uniform, clean polished shoes, and general appearance standards.Supervise service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service. Anticipate guests’ needs. Visits every table to ensure guests’ satisfaction.Evaluate restaurant reservations and coordinate seating and special requests. Develop and maintain the highest standard of quality as they relate to presentation supervision and control of food and beverage service.Evaluate business levels and staff accordingly to meet labor requirements without jeopardizing service levels.Enforce courtesy and efficiency on the part of all restaurant employees. Create a loyal and trustworthy staff who take pride in their work, thereby providing the highest level of service possible.Assist Restaurant & Beverage Manager to establish and monitor side work duty completion.Maintain bank, always keep it balanced and secure.Responsible for all closing procedures including running reports, securing the property, and locking all doors etc.Read daily communication sheets from previous shift and prepare one for the following shift. Check all personnel call offs and check floor plan for daily and future coverage.Check the restaurant for cleanliness and proper set up. Check all service and aisle areas. Make sure all safety measurements are in order.Communicate daily with the Restaurant & Beverage Manager and with the Executive Chef in daily pre-shift meeting.Education and Experience:High School education or equivalent experience.Tips trained. Understanding of liquor laws.One or two years of experience in supervision or assisting management position preferably in a fine dining facility with a minimum three-star rating. Must be a self-starter and have leadership abilities.Skills and Abilities:Assertive hospitality skills (English required).Ability to solve problems.Ability to operate a point-of-sale machine.Ability to handle guest complaints.Ability to manage all operational functions in the dining room, patio and all function rooms.Benefits:
