The Opportunity:

This position is on site at Blue-Ash

The Denials Support Specialist provides support for all denial and audit activities across the Mercy Health ministry.

Essential Job Functions:

Provides support for all denial and audit activities across the Mercy Health ministry.

Processing and preparation of outgoing mail and data entry.

Meeting regulatory compliance requirements.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Must pass typing test of 35 words per minute (error adjusted)

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience in physician and hospital operations, billing, AR follow-up, denials & appeals, compliance, and provider relations.

Minimum Years and Type of Experience: 2 years’ applicable experience strongly preferred

Education Level:

High School Diploma or GED/ 2 Year/ Associates Degree
