Job Description - Focus Factory Manager (325869)Responsibilities:Create a continuous improvement culture to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.Cascade targets and strategy goals and objectives to direct reports.Control goal achievement.Identify cost reduction potentials and check monthly achievement.Manage local customer relationships and requirements.Engage in the introduction of standardized work.Efficiently use LEAN/SIX SIGMA and participate in the AOP process.Actively participate in organizing launches of new productions, approving and receiving new projects into mass production.Center management via key figures and benchmarks.Manage personnel employment according to economic aspects. Develop subordinates through the use of PMP.Organize and control the implementation and use of all regulations laid out by the legislator of the employer.Create a positive working environment and culture to retain employees.Ensure that all issues regarding EHS and quality are implemented and observed according to IATF 16949, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001.Ensure that existing and new programs fit quality and cost requirements.Coordinate and execute center-related audits, both internal and external.Monitor and analyze basic production indicators.Make efficient use of visual tools in the plant and ensure feedback.Manage the daily production plan to meet customer demands with optimum costs and maximum quality.Participate in logistic processes, e.g., optimization of material flows.Be responsible for identifying needs to invest in devices, integrating them into the budget, and monitoring the defined budget.Manage solutions for qualitative problems from the customer and towards the suppliers with support from relevant functions.Qualifications Needed:University degree in Engineering or comparable.Minimum 3 years management experience.2-3 years experience in leading a center.1 year of commercial experience including quoting engineering changes, banks builds, and labor.HR tools and ability to apply them (PMP, IDP, etc.), knowledge of managerial and motivation tools, conflict management, etc.Knowledge of production planning methods.IT skills: Outlook, Office, SAP, and other software.EEO Statement:Textron is committed to providing Equal Opportunity in Employment to all applicants and employees regardless of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, military status, veteran status, handicap, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including US Citizenship, for access to classified information.Primary Location
