The SLATE Captain under general supervision, will be responsible for researching, implementing and maintaining admission systems; regularly audits admission CRM processes for quality assurance and efficiency and collaborates with other units to facilitate recruitment and retention initiatives.Open to a remote employee locally and in any of the following states if not living in the Greater St. Louis area:

Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin.Applicants must include:

You can upload these items on the third page "My experience" of the application.Job Duties:Builds and maintains data integration between external application sources (i.e. Common Application, CAS, customer relationship management (CRM) systems) with University student information systems.Facilitates the importing of external data sources into CRM from purchased inquiry name lists through third-party vendors; search names responders.Serves as the system administrator for Office of Admission ETL tools; maintains bi-directional data feeds from SIS and CRM for test score, financial aid, housing and orientation registration.Collaborates with Enrollment and Retention Management units on the expansion of current projects as well as the creation of new admission and retention related initiatives.Represents the Office of Admission on committees in relation to Banner and various forms of recruitment software; coordinates with ITS in regard to University-wide reporting tools and student systems.Provides support and consultation for other offices using admission systems.Reviews existing and potential external partnerships to determine return on investment of implementing new tools; other duties as assigned.Documents business processes, automations and procedures related to CRM data and system.Knowledge and Skills:Working competency in SQL, SOQL, JAVA, or other programming languages with the ability to query, extract, load, and update data to multiple sources or other enterprise reporting data systems.Experience with integrated student information systems and the utilization of data for analysis and assessment.Competency in the use of query tools and/or software utilized to collect and process applicant data, such as Ellucian, PeopleSoft, or other comparable databases to SLATE.Strong working knowledge of student information systems and administrator-level ability with innovative technology systems such as Salesforce, SLATE, Hobsons, or another comparable CRM.Ability to effectively use business intelligence tools.Ability to translate data and business process needs between end users and programmers.Thorough knowledge of admission policies, procedures, and terminology.Written and oral communication skills including presentations and group facilitation of data and report findings.Interpersonal/human relations skills.Strong time management skills combined with the ability to shift work focus and assist in achieving priorities.Ability to rapidly and thoroughly evaluate procedures and new technology, and then refine, develop or recommend new procedures.Ability to train staff and provide ongoing support in a team environment.Ability to maintain confidentiality with student data.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; supplemented with five (5) years of related experience. SLATE experience is strongly preferred.Function:
