Position Description

CGI is seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Project Lead to direct the performance and delivery of a project within a large-scale Federal government contract. The candidate selected for this position will have excellent leadership and management skills, and experience leading and developing project teams. The ideal candidate can think on their feet, proactively identify and address client challenges, and bring innovative ideas to their projects. The Senior Business Analyst/Project Lead will act as the primary customer contact on status and performance and must anticipate and fulfill customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and continued business.Your future duties and responsibilities

Build strategic relationships with client, management, and project teams.Lead and organize the daily activities of a software development project team.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients: respond to questions, log all client requests, and translate client priorities into action plans for the team.Understand client business and requirements, and ensure the team is addressing client needs through developed solutions.Manage and track project financials, develop monthly progress reports, and provide labor estimates for new work.Mentor and develop leadership skills of project team members.Support project reviews at the account level and be able to identify and articulate risks and mitigation plans to management.Identify, design, and execute business development strategies to grow scope and revenue.Manage all aspects of project delivery, including project-level resources.Support proposal and bid activities.Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Bachelor's degree5+ years' experience in government consulting, including at least 3 years in a project management or equivalent team leadership roleKnowledge of SDLC and Agile development, including JIRA and ConfluenceFunctional analysis and strong writing skills.Excellent communication skillsAbility to travel to client site (as needed)Ability to work effectively within a team environment under tight timelinesUnderstanding of project estimation, financial management, and bid pricing.Desired qualification

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certificationDue to the nature of the government contracts this position requires US Citizenship.Compensation

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $82900 - $133500.Location

This position can be located in Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LO.Application Timeline
