The Operations Manager at RS Hughes is responsible for leading a cross-functional team and for leading all activities relating to the business operations. This is a key role for the organization that will direct process work performed at the local division and manage the business operation. This position is expected to manage staff, foster a positive environment, and ensure customer satisfaction and proper departmental operation. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievements. This role is expected to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.Key Competencies Required to be Successful as an Operations Manager

Strives to ensure the appropriate team, tools and processes are in place to support these desired cultural traits.Responsible for all aspects of the Branch location including deliveries, Cost, Inventory, Productivity and Sales goals.Coaches, provides feedback to and develops the team members. Motivates and manages to achieve annual goals/objectives set at the individual and organizational level.Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.Reviewing existing operational processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements, and enacting improvements.Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output.Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with the company policies and procedures.Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the company.Review performance data that includes financial, sales, and activity reports and spreadsheets, to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness.Perform other job duties as assigned.Education/Certification/Licenses

Bachelor’s Degree in business or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Supervisory or Management roleSkills That Will Make You Successful
