is seeking a Fleet Manager to be responsible for managing the fleet of vehicles for all Sobieski companies. This position oversees all vehicles and related assets, including their operations, conditions, maintenance requirements, and overall performance. In support of the driver coaching and training efforts of the Safety, Human Resources, and Risk Management teams, the Fleet Manager ensures that all telematics and video data is operational and available to managers. Makes recommendations and decisions regarding the acquisition and sale of Company vehicles.

FLEET MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Safety Management or similar relevant degree.

Strongly prefer 3-5 years of fleet and/or safety management experience in a construction environment.

Strongly prefer prior experience with managing Department of Transportation compliance regulations.

Ability to provide leadership in dealing with some of the challenges of safety management.

Is a recognized role model for safe and professional behavior.

Must be able to deliver difficult information in a constructive and motivating manner.

Strong MS Office skills.

Analytical skills.

Planning and organizational skills.
