Project Managers

who will be highly skilled and knowledgeable in sheet metal, pipefitting, and/or plumbing installation, the commercial HVAC industry and possess at least 7 years’ experience in project management.Project Manager’s Responsibilities:Assist in achieving monthly and yearly revenue and profit goals by managing P&L for assigned projectsDetermine initial job cost, using project estimate at turn overCreate CPM schedule in line with contract requirements, project phasing, and recommended sequencing.Create purchasing priority list, reflecting CPM schedule. Review and approve pricing of major purchases and subcontractsCreate schedule of values to ensure project's positive cash flowWrite Change Orders, review change orders created by team to maintain a Change Order log.Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors for change orders.Submit invoices on projects, review and resolve invoice issues in a timely mannerUpdate and submit billing projections, explain large deltas from previous projectionsProvide proper written notifications to customers, engineers and subcontractors in line with contract requirementsPerform job cost forecasting using labor and materials costMaintain professional relationship with all project stakeholdersProject Manager’s Requirements:Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management and 2 years in project assistanceBachelor’s degree in construction management, allied field, engineering, or equivalent experienceOSHA 30 CertificationExperience in commercial HVAC and PlumbingThorough knowledge and understanding of Mechanical, Architectural, Civil and Structural drawingsThorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, and methodsExcellent scheduling and costing skillsExperience managing multiple projects at varying stages of completionExperience achieving profit and revenue goalsMust pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
