Position SummaryThe Supply Chain Application & Data Analyst serves as the primary liaison between AtlantiCare Information Technology (AIT) and the Supply Chain department. This position provides first level response and support for the development and modification of the Supply Chain information system and other IT applications, as designated. This position is responsible for the daily functioning of the Supply Chain Materials Management Information System (Materials Management Information Systems).The Analyst trains department staff in the use of the Materials Management Information Systems to maximize department performance and decision making. Serving as the critical communications link on technology issues between supply chain solutions and the business units, information systems core and the information systems vendors, this position will:Respond to individual requests from end users for assistance with supply chain related technologiesConduct audit/quality checks and initiate required corrective actions to include procedural or system changesAnalyze and verify accuracy of data extracts/reports requested by external partners or internal departmentsCoordinate external database programs and establish integrated mechanisms with system users and processes; perform system maintenance, enhancements and upgradesCreate reporting tools for database systems and data extractions; run monthly inventory optimization reports; distribute planned and ad hoc supply chain reportsGenerate data to support PAR level reviews for departmental customersManage, maintain and update the item fileCreate, maintain and revise Supply Chain Solutions performance dashboardThe Analyst ensures the data file integrity for all modules of the Materials Management Information Systems. This position provides Materials Management Information Systems item management through the uploading of contracts and item pricing files and routine maintenance. This position utilizes automated tools and batch data uploads to maintain the Materials Management Information Systems.This position administers and maintains all Supply Chain operational, analytical and transactional systems as consistent with the department's mission and goals. The Information Systems Coordinator is responsible for the department utilization of systems including: Q-Site, HBI, HEMM, GHX and Supply Source.The Analyst manages and advises on all system upgrades in collaboration with AIT and the Supply Chain management team.The Analyst participates in projects and implementation teams involved with the Supply Chain Department. The Analyst serves as a resource for team members and other members of the department. This position utilizes continuing education opportunities to develop Supply Chain knowledge.The Analyst provides other services as requested by Management in support of departmental objectives and has the ability to multitask and manage time expectations.This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation. The Information Systems Coordinator upholds all AtlantiCare values.QualificationsEDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or related field required.LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 0 year experience in Information Systems, Healthcare or Supply Chain required. Advanced level of confidence with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products. Experience with the following is preferred: Item Master Maintenance; direct project management. Experience with inventory management and procurement software (Meditech, PeopleSoft, Lawson, Mckesson etc.) preferred. Experience in healthcare database management, Business Intelligence and related reporting tools, report writing, analytical review and system integrations preferred. Experience and knowledge with Materials Management information systems including demand planning, forecasting, inventory and stock level management, replenishment, receiving, and materials resource planning strategies (MRP) preferred.PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONSDemonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool. Demonstrates effective communication skills. Demonstrates ability to perform intermediate to advanced financial calculations and spreadsheet navigation.
