Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Disaster Restoration Crew Chief with a specialization in content restoration and pack out to join our team. As the Crew Chief, you will be responsible for leading a team of restoration technicians in the careful handling, restoration, and pack out of damaged contents at various disaster sites.

Job Responsibilities- Coordinate and lead a team of restoration technicians in the safe and efficient pack out, inventory, and transportation of damaged contents from disaster sites to a secure facility for restoration.

- Oversee the cleaning, restoration, and documentation of damaged contents, including furniture, electronics, documents, textiles, and other valuable items.

- Ensure that all content restoration and pack out procedures adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company protocols.

- Manage warehouse operations, including inventory management, space utilization, and organization of restored items.

- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to provide updates on the progress of content restoration and pack out projects.

- Train and mentor team members on best practices for content restoration and pack out procedures.

Job Requirements- Proven experience in disaster restoration, with a focus on content restoration and pack out.

- IICRC certifications such as WRT (Water Restoration Technician), FSRT (Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician), and OCT (Odor Control Technician) are preferred. Willing to train and certify the right person.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and interact with clients and stakeholders.

- Proficient in inventory management, warehouse organization, and documentation practices.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently manage warehouse operations.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and lift heavy objects when necessary.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

- Demonstrated capability to follow instructions and remain focused on tasks at hand.

- Adherence to company guidelines and standards throughout all tasks.

- Willingness to work overtime as needed and participate in an on-call rotation schedule.

- Proficiency in reading and implementing product label usage instructions.

- Punctuality in reporting to work wearing a clean and complete uniform.

Physical Demands and Working ConditionsThe role requires meeting certain physical demands essential for job performance. Individuals must be able to:

- Lift up to 50 pounds frequently through various movements like lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects.

- Stand and walk for extended periods with additional requirements such as lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching.

- Communicate effectively with others and act upon detailed information received.

- Use respirators when necessary; ensuring a proper seal for safety purposes.

- Adapt to different indoor and outdoor working conditions including variations in temperature.
