About the Position:

You will perform realty specialist tasks and transactions such as acquisition by lease including long-term leases, or leases that deviate from standard; acquisition of property interests up to fee simple; independently conduct compliance inspections and inventory activities; dispose and transfer property out of federal or agency ownership; and prepare documents, records research, and data management to support those activities.THIS IS AN OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT/STANDING REGISTER.

It will be used to fill immediate and future vacancies. There may be multiple cut-off dates with the first being 27 NOVEMBER 2023. Applicants will be referred periodically throughout the open period. Final application disposition will be completed once all positions have been filled or the announcement reaches the end of the open period as stated above. Applications will expire 90 days after submission. in this document .MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS GS-09Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience implementing real estate principles, concepts, and practices; assisting with real estate transactions or related administrative work; participating in lease negotiations and/or managing existing leases for current projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).OREducation: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Real Estate, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.ORCombination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS GS-11Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience analyzing and applying real estate policies and procedures to include interpreting mapping and legal descriptions; reviewing preliminary property title reports; negotiating with property owners; as well as experience working with Project Delivery Teams on budgets and scopes of work. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).OREducation: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Real Estate, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.ORCombination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
