About Our ClientAre you eager for a new challenge in high-rise construction? Our client, a well-regarded construction firm in Ontario, is searching for a Senior Project Manager to lead significant high-rise projects in the Waterloo region.
Job DescriptionOversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-rise condominium projects from start to finish.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope.Work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to align project objectives and address any challenges.Ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.Monitor project progress and performance and prepare regular updates for senior management.Handle contract administration, including procurement and negotiations with vendors and suppliers.Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them throughout the project.The Successful ApplicantAt least 10 years of experience in managing construction projects, particularly in high-rise condominium developments.Educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.Extensive understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction to project closeout.Demonstrated success in handling large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects within budget and deadlines.In-depth familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Strong negotiation skills for dealing with various stakeholders.What's on OfferAttractive annual salary of up to $180,000.Be part of a well-established company with a solid reputation in the construction industry in Ontario.Chance to lead vibrant large-scale high-rise condominium projects in the Waterloo region.Enjoy a collaborative work environment with prospects for professional development and career advancement.Contact: Marine PougeuxQuote job ref: JN-092024-6528846
