Job Summary:

Responsible for the overall management of the CEG quality system, including team members, ISO Standards and all processes related to ensuring that products are built to engineering, design and cost specifications. This includes providing and implementing a vision of best-in-class quality systems supported by a foundation of continuous improvement, ISO and teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support and drive a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Provide ownership for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System for the plant to include all documentation, training, procedures, auditing and certification activities.

Develop and implement quality at the source tools and processes that will ensure conformance to engineering, design, cost, and general quality standards as set by CEG and our customers.

Manage all aspects of the quality assurance team to include performance, mentoring, coaching and training to support customer expectations and CEG operations and business needs.

Provide guidance, training and data to the manufacturing team to promote continuous improvement, teamwork and quality at the source.

Develop systems to maintain a high level of team member engagement in all areas of the quality process.

Drive improvements with the manufacturing team, through the use of the MRB process and other data derived from ongoing operations.

Provide leadership and direction for all quality systems related to supplier quality, including communicating expectations to suppliers, incoming inspection of parts, statistical analysis of supplier quality and supplier audits.

Other duties in support of the overall team effort may also be expected.

This person will also need to be able to properly handle confidential or classified materials that may be distributed internally and externally. This position requires strong inter-personal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with quality systems management.

Experience in a manufacturing environment with team leadership experience.

Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task when needed.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Integrity above reproach.
