ASRC Federal Data Networx is seeking a

Junior Healthcare Business Analyst/Modeler (Visio)

to join our team supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

This position is remote.

Responsibilities:Use facilitation and modeling techniques to develop business processes, data, systems, services, and technology infrastructure.Analyze business processes to help understand and manage the current environment, identify gaps, duplications and redundancies, and identify opportunities for improvement.Identify impacts and/or dependencies across the current and future environments.Work with CMS business owners to define their target goals and propose alternative business solutions.Develop work plans to reach the target goals.Coordinate and facilitate working group meetings.Effectively communicate with other team members and customers at all levels and provide status reports.Utilize design thinking tools (e.g. affinity diagramming) to engage in conversation with stakeholders and collaboratively organize and sort data into insightful clusters.Conduct user research studies to understand consumers’ goals, needs, journeys, and pain points with respect to processes and systems.Develop documents with quality in mind that meet customer requirements and Section 508 compliance.Requirements:Bachelor's degree required; Major in Healthcare Administration or health-related field, Business Management, or Computer Science is a plus.Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in mapping processes or workflows using tools such as Visio and Sparx EA (will consider classroom projects directly related to the work at hand); experience in business analysis, business architecture, enterprise architecture, or federal contracting that includes:Experience with mapping processes or workflows using a tool such as Sparx EA or Visio.Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.Basic understanding of Medicare and Medicaid.Ability to edit documents for quality and consistency; experience in creating documents that are compliant with Section 508 is a plus.Ability to conduct interviews and group facilitation; ability to identify root recommendations inspired by the consumers' needs and behaviors.Ability to adapt to new situations and strong commitment to a dynamic team environment.Ability to establish priorities and work independently to meet objectives.Ability to work iteratively to convert insights into visual models.Strong attention to details.
