As an Operations Senior Manager, you will have accountability for a Project Management Office (PMO) for governmental experience including customer engagements and implementations, solution design, service evolution design, and project management for cloud management programs. The ideal candidate projects high energy, strong customer facing interpersonal skills and possesses attention to detail.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Oversee, direct, and manage the activities of the assigned business unit, including deliverables, project schedule, risks and issues.Oversee the work associated with project deliverables, working in conjunction with teams across the project to create, deliver and maintain deliverables in accordance with project schedule and RFP timelines.Supervise technical and administrative staff and perform personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.Develop complex business strategies to achieve business targets.Align teams, set goals, execute initiatives, and improve processes for the specific business units.Analyze current processes and workflows to help the organization run efficiently and effectively.Work with clients and their customers, along with internal GDIT teams.Continuously seek out opportunities for customer experience improvements.Direct program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serve as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.Assure quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.Participate in business development activities at all stages, including the preparation and review of technical and cost proposals, as needed.Develop, review, and approve plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents.Prepare and provide various reports and technical reviews to senior management, as requested.Ensure compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience.Demonstrated management and leadership skills including ability to implement strategic plans.Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as experience interacting with executive management and other key constituents.Excellent project management and strategic thinking skills.Experience with start-up projects COTS implementation, software development, cloud management, and/or the management of 20+ people.Experience managing and overseeing a PMO; including payment deliverable and milestone payment.Ability to resolve issues with little oversight; ability to gather and analyze information skillfully and develop alternative solutions.Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams.Ability to work independently and lead a team while interacting regularly with government and non-government stakeholders at multiple levels of authority.Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to integrate information from multiple sources.Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; Critical thinking and creative problem solving.Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives/deadlines autonomously and shift priorities as necessary.Comfortable in a project start-up environment.Location:

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
