The MEP Superintendent is responsible for ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work, and budget, as well as field construction oversight during project implementation.Requirements:Extensive knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing systemsStrong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBasic knowledge of MEP codes as they relate to projectWell-rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplinesPrevious experience with MEP subcontractors and contractsMinimum of 3 years previous experience in MEP coordinationPrevious experience as PM, QC, or MEP Superintendent on medium to large projects ($20M+) is requiredBachelor’s Degree – Construction Management or Engineering preferredLead 3D modeling/coordination process of MEP systemsAssist with development of detailed schedules for MEP activitiesManage performance MEP trade partners on projectManage QA/QC process for MEP systems installation to commissioning and start-up.Review MEP material and equipment prior to installationManage material procurement process for MEP activitiesAssist superintendent with overall project plan as it relates to MEP activitiesCoordinates work with subcontractors to ensure all subcontract work is within project scope and specifications.Key Markets:High-rise structures including condominiums, apartments, and officeRetailIndustrial manufacturingFederal & military constructionGaming and entertainmentHospitalityThe above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
