Your Role:Tenable seeks a Channel Account Manager. This person will meet and exceed a sales target by developing strategic partnerships within a defined set of Tenable MSSP partners. We’re growing and seek a high-energy, driven sales or partner professional with strong knowledge of and experience with Network Security.Your Opportunity:Embed Tenable technology into partner’s service offeringsFacilitate engagement between assigned MSSP partners and Tenable sales teams to develop joint sales opportunitiesManage and maintain account pipeline within assigned MSSP partnersAchieve assigned quarterly and annual sales budgets and other regional objectives established by the companyMaintain and drive key relationships with defined set of MSSP PartnersDevelop and grow revenues through targeted marketing, sales activities, and networkingWork closely with marketing, Product Management, Sales Engineering, and Engineering to allocate the appropriate resources throughout the sales cycleDeliver presentations/demonstrations highlighting the benefits, key features, and functions of the Tenable solutions that meet MSSP partner needsMaintain an understanding of key industry trends and competitive issues and productsPractice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, and support staffProvide regular reporting of pipeline and accurate forecasts through salesforce.comProvide sales support to Global Strategic Partner team as neededMay perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to timeWhat You'll Need:5+ years of experience selling security software and exceeding quotasStrong working knowledge of the managed security services marketDemonstrated success in working with MSSPs in a sales or business development capacityExperience selling Network Security/Security Analytics/SIEM products, or enterprise-wide security software technologiesExperience selling emerging technologies, winning new logos, and building territoriesAbility to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of timeSome travel may be requiredAnd Ideally:Cyber security in your “DNA”Strong ethics, self-directed and resourcefulAbility to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsPositive attitude, ambitious, and a passion for building a valuable businessTechnically savvy with strength in communicating business valueStrength in working in small teams as well as independentlyExpertise in nurturing and building relationshipsWorking knowledge of SFDC & Microsoft Office Suite
