Join Our Team as a Human Resources Consultant!Are you passionate about delivering exceptional HR customer service and ready to make a difference in both U.S. and international HR operations? We're looking for a Human Resources Consultant to join our dynamic team in Vienna, VA. In this hybrid role, you'll be responsible for coordinating employment agreements, training and development, onboarding and offboarding, HR compliance, performance management support, and much more. You'll be the go-to person for HR-related customer service, ensuring smooth operations and positive experiences for our team members. We're seeking someone with a learning mindset, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. If you are available to work until December 31, 2024, we want to hear from you!This position is based in IBTCI’s home office located in Vienna, VA (currently in Hybrid mode, going to office twice a week).

Responsibilities

Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:Provide excellent HR customer service to all stakeholders; proactive solution provider.Coordinate and implement all aspects of US, international and local employment agreements; execute employment agreements and amendments; communicate changes to stakeholders and to Payroll.Coordinate and execute onboarding and offboarding of Local Staff. Prepare employment closeout for local employees including the preparation of separation letters, certificates of service, etc.Coordinate the Training and Development Program. Develop and maintain training for the company. Inform employees on their progress, track outcomes and maintain records. Market training opportunities.Assist in ensuring compliance with all company policies and state/federal regulations.Assist with the performance management program; coordinate the probationary performance review for local staff.Maintain all personnel files; ensure documentation is in compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:At least 2 years of professional work experience.At least one year in the Human Resources Department.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Proven ability to be well-organized, have attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Flexibility and adaptability required.Full proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.Oral and written fluency in English required, with fluency in an additional language such as Arabic is preferred.Education:A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business administration or related field. Master’s degree is highly preferred.Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to effectively collect, synthesize and present information from diverse sources.Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Previous global travel experience.Prior work experience in International Development a plus.Strong understanding of the compliance needs of US regulatory agencies.Experience with HR information systems; advanced reporting, writing and research skills.Knowledge of diverse cultures and cultural sensitivity.Working Environment:

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Currently the company is allowing for Hybrid work in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. This can be updated by the company.Physical Requirements:

This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.Supervisory Responsibility:
