These roles are until January 14, 2025, with the possibility of a long-term role should IBTCI be awarded the contract again. Please only apply if you are interested in an assignment until January 14, 2025.Overview:The Senior Project Manager will typically work on complex, urgent, and/or client-sensitive assignment requests depending on assignment numbers/demand. The Senior Project Manager will have staff supervisory, knowledge management, and training responsibilities and should have a demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:Manage complex, urgent, and/or client-sensitive assignment requests, including working with USAID clients to develop scopes of work (SOWs), cost estimates, and implementation timelines.Focus on recruiting difficult-to-recruit technical experts (consultants) and conducting GH-TAMS assignments.Provide logistical support for consultants in the United States and overseas.Coordinate and track project activities and consultants through planning, implementation, and reporting phases.Maintain regular communication with project employees, clients, and consultants to ensure support throughout assignments.Ensure necessary USAID approvals are obtained in a timely manner.Independently draft complex cost estimates, track expenditures, and maintain assignment-specific pipelines.Participate in and/or chair team-wide meetings and initiatives.Conduct trainings/orientations for project staff and consultants.Promote integration and cross-fertilization of ideas and best practices across assignments.Provide technical input for select contract deliverables.Implement administrative start-up and close-out of assignments.Mentor and train new Project Managers and Project Assistants.Serve in the capacity of Deputy Director in their absence.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEight (8) years of total work experience.Six (6) years of project management work experience with large, complex, and rapid response assignments.Experience with donor or USG-funded projects in a US headquarters environment.Knowledge of international development issues.Oral and written fluency in English required; fluency in another language preferred.Education:Bachelor's degree in international affairs, global health, business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Well-organized with strong attention to detail.Outstanding written and oral communication skills.Team player, flexible, and proactive.Familiarity with Excel, database use, and presentation software (Microsoft Office).Knowledge of international public health and/or other development fields is preferred.Fluency in another language (French or Spanish) is preferred.Working Environment:

Work is to be performed remotely. Currently, the company allows for remote and hybrid work in several states. This can be updated by the company.Physical Requirements:

This is largely a sedentary position requiring the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.Supervisory Responsibility:
