Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6First Time Travelers AcceptedUnit Information: Post Operative - Urology, GYN, GI, Ortho etc. & some pre-op patientsFloating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if neededEffective 9/1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers. Declinations will not be accepted; however medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note providedEffective 11/30/24, facility will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).**Periop/OR RNs, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**First Time Travelers AcceptedShift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12*** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE.
