Zurich North America is hiring a Professional Liability Portfolio Underwriter to join our Middle Markets Program team! We are open to hiring talent in a hybrid work environment & will consider talent in the following cities: Schaumburg IL, Omaha NE,As a member of Zurichs underwriting team, you will enjoy the opportunity to develop your portfolio management skills and collaborate with many stakeholders.The Professional Liability Portfolio Underwriter will be responsible for:Working with stakeholders to resolve issues and concerns for various programsAssisting with Dashboard completion and Game Plan updatesSupporting the product development processExecuting on referrals from Program AdministratorsProject work as necessaryParticipate in underwriting, sales, claims meetingsBasic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area.ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting Support areaORZurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing areaORZurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting Support areaANDKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeExperience working on time restraints for quotes on new and renewal businessExperience working in a team environment
