We are adding an A/V Technician with basic experience in low-voltage systems, home theater, home automation, and project installation for our Tampa, FL, location.
This position requires at least 1+ years of in-field residential audio/visual installations. Technicians engage in installation tasks based on their proficiency levels. These tasks include rough-in and trim tasks during new construction and renovations, including running and terminating cabling, reading plans to land locations, trimming wall plates, and installing speakers and networking gear. Technicians will also install and program security systems, install motorized shades, configure networks, trim equipment racks, and install audio/video installations.
Requirements:
We are looking for an audio-video technician with the following:Experience with hanging TVs, projectors, and projector screensCut in and install architectural speakers and in-wall touch screensKnowledge of low-voltage cablingExperience in residential and commercial project phases of rough-in, trim, and final installation.Device setups, media rooms, retrofits, a/v racks, pre-wires, and moreControl4, Lutron programming, and networking experience a big plus+Work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and scissors liftsOTHER REQUIREMENTSAn eagerness to learn and work hard as part of a growing team is required.Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and be accountable for work qualityAbility to work well with others have a customer service-oriented mindset, and strongwork ethic.We require a clean driving record and background check.Candidates must have reliable transportation, basic tools for working with low-voltage equipment
