About the Role:
The Publishing Coordinator will provide general administrative support to the global Trade editorial team, contributing to the overall success of the program and team objectives. The Publishing Coordinator will report to the Group VP of Trade Publishing and will play a pivotal role in managing schedules, coordinating team-wide reporting, and supporting special project work within the Trade business. This position requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
How you will make an impact:Collect, organize, and assist in verifying reports from various teams to provide a clear view of the group's progress and performanceCoordinate meeting schedules and meeting follow-up, as requestedManage communication with authors and partners from select publishing areasAssist in the planning and execution of special projects, including AI-related initiativesContribute to the smooth roll out of new projects and procedures, including training programsCurate team sites to support discoverability and communication impactDevelop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with people at all levels of the organizationUse global information systems and colleague networks to gather intelligence to support the teamManage other tasks or projects as requested on an ad hoc basis
What we look for:Minimum of Bachelor's degreeProven experience in a coordination role, preferably within a publishing environmentAbility to support a busy team and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneouslyAbility to work with detailed, complex, and confidential information with discretion, sound judgement, and diplomacyStrong communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely to internal colleagues and external stakeholders, including academicsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and ExcelCuriosity and a passion for learning new things
