Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for performing the day-to-day tasks of the department in accordance with departmental and functional procedures, internal controls, and the accounting in accordance with US GAAP, Caesars' policies and procedures, and applicable state and Federal regulations. Assist the department leadership in presenting to business partners and senior management explanations for monthly activity and/or fluctuations.

KEYJOB FUNCTIONS :Collaborate with a combination of professional and non-professional accounting staffPerform timely research and resolution of reconciling items with exceptions reported to management for review and consultationUnderstand the requirements of US GAAPPerform analytical analysis and use basic accounting principles with the guidance of your supervisorPerform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting processes to accurately record transactionsPerform monthly account reconciliationsPrepare monthly deliverables, including roll forward schedules, financial reporting support schedules, and legal/regulatory reportingExemplify the "Inspire Our Best" mission by contributing to a work environment that promotes teamwork and mutual respectMust possess critical thinking skills and the ability to provide solutions to problemsContinually assists in identifying process improvement areas and recommends solutionsProactively provides feedback to leadership on people, process, technology and compliancePerform other job-related duties as requestedDetail oriented, proficient in time management, able to multi task and ability to prioritize work loadEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

0-1 years of Accounting related experienceBA/BS degree in accountingPrior experience with Oracle or similar ERP systemPrefer gaming industry experienceQUALIFICATIONS:

Organized, with analytical skills and detail orientedAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet assigned deadlines as requiredAbility to adapt to new circumstances by understanding the changes and supporting management in communicating them in a positive mannerGood communication skills, both written and verbal; able to actively participate in meetings and communicate with peers, senior, and managersDevelop and maintain strong relationships with other team members and department leadersAbility to understand processes and issues, and to assist developing solutionsActively participate in special project assignments and team building activitiesMust be a team player in a professional environmentUnderstanding of Internal Control over Financial Report (ICFR) and SOX requirementsMust have intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office
