Job Description

Caesars Entertainment is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolution to users as part of the Laughlin IT Property Operations team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:Provide technical software, hardware and network problem resolution to all users by performing question/problem diagnosis and guiding users through step-by-step solutions in a call center environmentClearly communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional mannerProvide one-on-one end user training on basic workstation and peripheral device usage.Assist Network TechniciansTroubleshoot problems related to network printer, PC hardware, ISeries, email, internet, vpn and local area network access,Conduct hardware and software inventory database maintenance and reportingOperates the computer system in response to the computer time usage scheduleProduce output reports for user departmentsMaintain job logsFollows and enforces all departmental standards, security, run instructions, backup, recovery and shift turnoverReports all hardware and software malfunctions to the proper vendor in a timely mannerProvides Family Style Service at all times.May perform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred1 year computer operations experience in an iSeries and/or Windows server environment. Experience to include knowledge of basic system commands and error message recognition.Must have excellent communication skillsRequired to perform the customer service standards of the departmentKnowledgeable of the Casino Control Act and attendant regulations, as well as company internal controls, policies and procedures.
